observing how we want to be perceived through the
context of a make-believe dating-app named Paintr.
this series of paintings started as an invitation to
some of my close friends to send me their favourite
photo; an excuse to paint.
the variety of responses peaked my curiosity as they
often differed to what I would have chosen as a photo
to characterise the subject myself.
as i painted them, i intended to go beyond the 3d;
beyond what the app would have you believe from
the photo.
I now offer these as commissions – which photo will
you submit ?

~12 to 15 days from collection for Europe and Rest of World
~1 to 3 days from collection for London
