At 97 years old, Eve came to London either during or just after the Second World War as a war refugee — and never left. She is known to everyone who loves her as Young Girl, a nickname given to her by the friend who nominated her for this series. That quote tells you everything you need to know about her spirit. One of the most joyful and unexpected portraits in the series.
Each print is produced as a museum-quality giclée on Hahnemühle German Etching fine art paper — chosen for its warm matte tone and tactile surface which honours the intimacy of the original watercolour. Part of a limited edition of 100, numbered and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
Available in A4 and A3, unframed or framed in a black frame with ivory mount.
