Zaha Hadid — Icons of London
“your success will not be determined by your gender or your ethnicity, but only on the scope of your dreams.”
born in baghdad, educated in london, celebrated everywhere. i first encountered her work at a summer school at the architectural association — her vision was unlike anything i had seen. zaha hadid became the first woman to win the pritzker architecture prize and transformed the skyline of cities across the world. london claimed her as its own.
